Skill Development

As India targets to become a global economic powerhouse, it needs to equip its workforce with employable skills and knowledge to make India a developed economy. Skills and knowledge development are the driving forces behind the financial growth and community development of any country. Skill building is a powerful tool to empower individuals and improve their social acceptance.
Jindagi Live Akshay Foundation envisions an India which has qualified labour force and who can contribute significantly to the growth of the nation. JLA Foundation has tried to do its part by becoming a part of the Skill India Mission launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
Under this campaign, the foundation will provide scholarships to those meritorious students (under the guidance of certified NSDC trainers) who have financial constraints and are unable to complete their respective courses. The foundation pledges to cover upto 80% of the entire fees of the course for select students.
